Just thinking aloud. It occurred to me that through cookies, ad banners, applications themselves (i.e. apps) and lots and lots of javascript embedded in pages throughout the internet it is VERY difficult to browse the web without traces of data left permanently behind in logs that are aggregated into massive databases that can literally track you daily routing.

If you are like me, you have a smartphone and you use your phone in the morning and throughout the day. Even if you are not logging on to Bing, Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Amazon there are literally BILLIONS of ads in aps, webpages, embedded in emails, etc that track and create a picture of an individuals behavior for the express purpose of "advertising".
